• I found myself wishing we could stay another night

  Travelling to Boston from central Maine, we decided to stop overnight in Ogunquit. We were travelling with 3 small children and hours of driving wasn’t their cup of tea. A relative had recommended the Sea View, and we were grateful for the suggestion. The staff at the Sea View were really friendly and helpful. When I booked the room I got the date wrong, but when I called to correct it there was no problem, and a very helpful and friendly person made the change. The check-in was quick and the women at the desk was warm and friendly, and gave us helpful tips for exploring the area. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and the beds very comfortable. There was even real coffee, not instant, and a microwave. A nice touch was the bowl of peppermints. Breakfast was included in the reasonable cost, and there was a good selection of fruit, yogurt, cereals, toast, muffins and pastries. The hotel’s location was great – very easy to find and walking distance to the town centre and beach. I found myself wishing we could stay another night, and the children declared it a great hotel (and they can be tough customers!).

• The room was very clean and decorated beautifully!

  We had such a great time this past weekend in Ogunquit! The owners were very accommodating especially with our unexpected late check in. My boyfriend and I reserved the jacuzzi suite from Thursday 10/5 – Monday 10/9. We ended up getting Bruins tickets for opening night and had to check in very late (about midnight). I called a couple days before and the owners were extremely friendly about it and put my mind at ease. The room was very clean and decorated beautifully!  You could tell that they spent a lot of time making sure that their guests receive a pleasurable experience. We didn’t use the fireplace in the room however they said if we needed any help lighting it (it was a gas fireplace) that they would be happy to come over and show us how. The continental breakfast was good. We didn’t use the trolley because mostly everything we wanted to do was in walking distance. We walked to town almost every night and walked to the beach and the marginal way walk as well. It was a beautiful lively area with a lot to do! The owners are great and overall it was a great experience! We will be back!

• Very friendly staff, walking distance to downtown

  My husband and I have been staying here nearly every year for our anniversary since getting married 11 years ago. Very friendly staff, walking distance to downtown. Always a great time. The time of year is perfect, as the area is never too crowded and we enjoy spending quiet nights sitting outside the room watching movies on our laptop or just talking.

• Their staff is GREAT

  The rooms are always clean and spacious and have everything you need for your stay. They have large TVs in the room, a microwave, refrigerator, comfortable seating and the beds are very comfortable. You can sit outside of your room and enjoy the beautiful weather. The owners are super friendly and enjoy having all of their guests. Their staff is GREAT, from the front desk to the people behind the scenes that make sure your stay is everything you expect. We always stay here and they make us feel just like family.

• Clean and affordable

  The Sea View is located right on the main highway. It is a little ways away from the town of Ogunquit itself so it is quiet but still very easy to walk to restaurants and shops in Ogunquit. They serve a nice little continental breakfast. Overall, it is clean, affordable and nicely located.
